My love of art led me to major in Art at the University of Rio Grande in Southeast Ohio and to pursue a concentration in Graphic Design. During school I also developed my sculpting, painting, and drawing skills. This knowledge of how to actually build art with my hands enhances my graphics work when it comes to the mouse and keyboard.

As I build my creative career, I have encountered many challenges. These push me to be a stronger creative thinker. In the end I want the viewer or client to be so enamored that it causes them to look and think deeper.

When I am not working on a project, you can find me in the kitchen learning how to perfect my favorite meals from scratch. Reading and working out are important to me and I absolutely love snowboarding. I’ve even been a professional instructor for the past five years.

My graduation from the University of Rio Grande and Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts (BFA) occured in May of 2026. During college I was fortunate enough to participate in two professional internships. One for the Marketing Department at Rio Grande, and the other for the Madog Center for Welsh Studies on our campus.

Madog Center For Welsh Students

Croeso

Welcome

Communicating with visual appeal became even more important when designing for a company in a different language. Working for the Madog Center taught me how to create a brand identity, ensuring colors, typography, and messaging remain uniform across all marketing materials.

The Welsh-American Heritage Museum also became a sub-brand for the Madog Center. There I learned how to maintain the same identity with similar visual styles, but used color and typography to still set them apart.

Four Daughters Farm

Working in agriculture most of my life has taught me the importance of a good work ethic, as well as giving me the opportunity to create designs for local farms and fairs. This has enabled me to design banners, letters, and small ads to promote healthy communities. These extra-curricular designs have pushed my creative thinking while in school, improving my skills as a designer. Discovering what people like and how they interact with all the publicity around them.
